'Working with Daniel has been so beneficial to me as a returning adult pianist. I'm an intermediate level player who learned for a few years as a teenager and then didn't play for 25+ years. While I have enough knowledge to learn pieces by myself, I don't have the knowledge or skill to make them sound really great. 'Daniel Walsh has taught my daughter piano for the past nine years. For the duration, he has remained focused and my daughter has been awarded all high distinctions while under his tutelage. I am extremely impressed with her progress and his attention to detail when it comes to teaching piano. She was a winner at the EPTA Piano Competition at the National Concert Hall and the adjudicator, Padraig O’Cuinneagain, praised her with wonderful comments. She was also the overall winner of the Under 21 Swords Musician of the Year in the piano section at the age of twelve. Daniel has advised and guided my daughter throughout every stage, including teaching her theory of music. I cannot commend him more for everything he has done for my daughter! 'Daniel started teaching Adam over a year ago when Adam was just 4 years old. He is a very experienced teacher with huge enthusiasm and patience with children. He has profound knowledge of childhood education. Adam is not a big fan of Piano but he loves going to Daniel's class, where he feels happy and relaxed. In the last few months, Adam has transformed from a little boy who cannot even play one note to someone who can easily play a number of songs with both hands now. 'Daniel has been giving piano lessons to my daughter Aoife for the past four years as part of a group along with her friends. Daniel has an encouraging, positive and supportive approach and as a result the girls thoroughly enjoy the classes and are always eager to attend. The girls are always very happy both arriving for their class and leaving afterwards. As well as learning to play by reading music they have also learnt to play every tune without the music and also to sing each tune.
